Hooba complies with relevant privacy laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter: GDPR). This means that we:

· Store as little personal data as possible and only the data that is necessary for our purposes;

Web store software
Our online store is developed using Shopify software. Personal data you provide to us for the purposes of our services will be shared with this party. Shopify has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose.
Purpose. Shopify is obligated to implement appropriate security measures under our agreement with them. Shopify uses cookies to collect technical information about your use of the software; no personal data is collected and/or stored.

Web hosting
We also purchase web hosting and email services from Shopify. Shopify processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. However, this party may collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Shopify has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Shopify is obligated to maintain confidentiality under the confidentiality agreement.

Email and mailing lists
We use Shopify's services for our regular business email communications. This provider has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. Shopify does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email communications confidentially.

Payment processors 

Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address, and city of residence, as well as your payment information, such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the aforementioned safeguards regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's services for which it engages third parties. Mollie does not retain your data for longer than is permitted by law.

Shipping and logistics

PostNL
When you place an order with us, it's our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use PostNL's services to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, we must share your name, address, and city of residence with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If PostNL uses subcontractors, PostNL will also share your information with these parties.

DHL
When you place an order with us, it's our responsibility to have your package delivered to you. We use DHL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, we must share your name, address, and city of residence with DHL. DHL uses this information solely for the purpose of fulfilling the agreement. If DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also share your information with these parties.

Cookies

Our online store uses cookies. Cookies are small files that allow us to store information so you don't have to re-enter it every time. They also allow us to recognize you as a return visitor.

You can disable the placing of cookies through your browser, but some parts of our web shop will then no longer work properly.

We have agreements with other companies that place cookies regarding their use. However, we don't have full control over what they do with the cookies themselves. Therefore, please also read their privacy statements.

We take personal data security very seriously. We ensure your data is properly secured. We continually update our security and monitor potential incidents.

When Hooba.nl changes, we must also update the privacy statement. So always check the date above and check regularly for new versions. We will do our best to notify you of any changes.
